In this important colonial temple we will observe the Andean Baroque architecture and the best samples of Andean religious art, as well as some colonial paintings.
Then we will go to & nbsp; Qoricancha & nbsp; (the largest Inca temple dedicated to the sun) where we will observe the finest Inca architecture and important colonial paintings of the Cusco school.
After visiting Qoricancha, we will go to the outskirts of Cusco to visit the 4 tourist attractions that are part of the & nbsp; Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park : the ceremonial fortress of & nbsp; Sacsayhuamán, the & nbsp; Qenqo amphitheater, the military fortress of Puca & nbsp; Pucara and the sources of the water temple of & nbsp; Tambomachay.
During the guided tour of Sacsayhuamán, we will visit impressive temples, sacred precincts and platforms that were built with immense stone blocks. And from his viewpoint, we will also observe in all its magnitude the imposing city of Cusco; as well as the most important mountains that protect it and the beautiful landscapes that surround Sacsayhuamán.
Additionally, in the vicinity of Sacsayhuamán, we will also visit a craft center to see the works of art created by the hands of the Cusco artisan: traditional fabrics (in alpaca and baby alpaca) and gold and silver jewelry (necklaces, bracelets and earrings ).
