Sacred Valley + Inca Trail 2 days , is designed for travelers with a short visit time but interested in exploring the traditional Inca trail connected to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
In this short 1-day Inca trail tour, you will travel a distance of approximately 10 km or a duration of 6 hours of walking at a moderate pace, especially the most important visit of the citadel of Machu Picchu.
We will pick you up at the hotel in Cusco between 04:20 am – 04:30 am, then we will go along the route of the sacred valley to the train station that is located in the town of Ollantaytambo, then we will board the Expeditions train ( tourist train) bound for Km 104 where we will start the walk to the ruins of Chachabamba.
After the visit we will begin to ascend until we reach the impressive archaeological complex of Winaywayna where we will find numerous agricultural terraces.
After the visit of Winaywayna we will arrive at Intipunku (door of the sun) from where we will have a complete view of the most important Machu Picchu and mountains surrounding the citadel.
In Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour, then we will go down to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will have lunch.
Finally in the town of Aguas Calientes we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo where a representative of the agency is waiting for you to return in our mobility to the hotel in Cusco.
We begin with the pick up from the hotel in the city of Cusco , then we will go to the archaeological center of Pisac, where we will have a guided visit.
Then we go to the city of Urubamba, where we will have an Andean buffet lunch, after lunch we will continue through the sacred valley to the town of Ollantaytambo.
Continuing with the expedition we will visit the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo where we will have a guided visit.
Later we will visit the town of Chinchero, a very popular place for textiles.
At the end of our tour, we go to the city of Cusco.
